Daniel Claffey

Born in Los Angles 1957 Dan was honorable son number 5 of 10 children. The only left handed of all the kids and no art influences from family or friends Dan started sketching, painting and sculpturing at the age of 13. The tragic early loss of a sister and brother his artist outlets were a safe haven. Dan has used his artistic talents to achieve success in many fields outside of the art industry. Most of his work in the last decade as been consider personal enjoyment with the intention when time allows to make the leap to full time artist. Dan has written and publish 2 humor books and currently hold close to 100 patents and trademarks related to created products, a recent invention of Dan is allowing him to create some exciting work in mixed media photography. Married for 27 years to a fantastic lady Ella and two wonderful adult children Angie and Thomas, Dan leads a very exciting life just trying to keep up with it all. Still living in Los Angles Dan hopes to bring enjoyable thought provoking works to the art community.
