HELLO EVERYONE, I'M A SELF TAUGHT ARTIST FROM THE ORANGE COUNTY AREA. I REALLY LIKE THIS SITE, BUT I DON'T SEE A LOT OF ACTIVITY :( MAKES ME SAD. I JOINED TO CONNECT WITH LOCAL ARTISTS AND GET INFORMATION ON UPCOMING SHOWS/ARTWALKS IN THE ORANGE COUNTY AREA.

Hey H - the site is pretty new (just a few months old) and I think people are just now starting to get involved. I use the site for the same reason - to connect with local artists and I've found that some artists are more engaged than others at different levels of the art world. There are many new people joining the site every day so I think it's just a matter of time.
I'll let you know if there are any good events in L.A. - it's good to catch up with like-minded artists...
