I've always had an affinity to contemporary art and when I moved to LA I spent a lot of time initially at MOCA. I see they are now showing a retrospective collection covering their first thirty years. Contemporary art changes so quickly decade by decade that it's hard to capture any one style at any given time. But seeing this retrospective show is the best chance to see a lof of contemporary works spread across multiple decades in one shot, which puts them into interesting perspective against one another.
