Jinx

Paintings, Drawings, and Sculptures by Jinx. Her artwork ranges from cartoony to realistic, in a variety of mediums. Most of her oils paintings are either big projects or highly detailed images. She uses acrylics for a more immediate satisfaction. Acrylic paint can portray plastic toys very nicely. Watercolors and colored pencils are used for sketches and simple paintings. Growing up in the Midwest she watched lots of cartoons and horror movies, along with any art instructional shows that were on (including, of course, Bob Ross). She later developed an interest in the medical field, watching doctor and surgery shows. Today you can see the influence these types of shows have had on her artwork. She enjoys getting a mixed emotional response from her viewers.
